Nursery Room Themes??
Just for fun

What kind of nursery room theme did you do or are going to do if any?

What would you like to do or just think is cute?

If you didn’t do any kind of theme did you just do the normal blue or pink?

We did not do the typical pink, We did butterfly’s, flowers and dragonflies, for our first Daughter Brooke, It’s still cute and girly even though it’s not all pink lol, we did more of purples/lavender and some yellows and a very little bit of pink.

For our second daughter, Isabella we did a Ladybug theme. It’s a very cute room. When shopping for this room we saw a bunch of pink ladybug stuff, but we went with the natural ladybug red,

And for our third Daughter, Summer we just did a Summer/sunshine kinda theme. It just kinda fit lol. Has lots of yellow (not bright bright yellow) and some flowers, and cute little bees.

If we ever have a boy Frogs would be kinda cute I think, Or Monkey’s or Safari, but maybe not. Or if we have another girl it’ll probably be flowers and Spring time themed, maybe put all the previous themes together since they all seem to be Spring/Summer/Nature themed.

My daughters nursury theme is the "birds" pattern from Targets Dwell Studio brand. Its kind of retro and has a few different patterens that are used together, like stripes, birds, flowers….etc… the rest of the room is pink and brown stuff to match. I thought it was cute just because it was so different from all the bright neon-like colors that a lot of brands are using.

I like off-beat kind of themes rather than the typical princess, flower kind of stuff.

What is something I can do for figure skating solo?
I have a skating solo in our ice show this year and every year the soloist has something special they do in their program (doing the splits in the air, holding their leg in a unbelievably flexible position, etc.) im not sure what to do for mine since i just started skating last year so im only in pre-pre freestyle right now. Any ideas for something, and also the theme is dance and I was hoping to do the song fire burning by sean kingston but if anyone has any other ideas for songs I’d appreciate them!

Laptop Only Connects When in Close Proximity of the Router?
*Note* I have tried all the basics ( Updating/Rolling back Drivers ETC)

Ok so here’s the deal;

I have just bought this new laptop (http://www.laptopsdirect.co.uk/Acer_Aspi re_5739_Laptop_LX.PH602.198/version.asp)

Now i’ve contacted tech support and im waiting for them to call me back, but i might as well ask the techies here;

Ok so after turning on my laptop and connecting to the internet wireless fine, then when i moved into a different room where i wasnt next to a router it lost its connection. After trying multiple fixes i found out that if i stood between the router and my laptop it wouldnt be able to pick it up either…

So any ideas?

any suggestions will be a help!
Forgot to mention that all my other wifi enabled gadgets work all around the house without problem

Check the settings in your router. Maybe the strength of the signal is turned down. If not, try another router. It looks like the signal is just too weak.

Standing between the router and laptop will always reduce the signal. That’s because the wireless runs at 2.4Ghz (usually), which is absorbed by your body. 2.4Ghz is the same frequency as a microwave oven, though a lot less power. Your body is mostly water, which absorbs 2.4Ghz. Basic fact of physics….water absorbs 2.4Ghz radio waves, and turns it into heat. Hence that’s why microwave ovens work – they activate the water molecules.

Wireless signals are not really dangerous, but the absorption principle still applies…

To try and improve the signal, move the router a foot or two, away from any objects, and try the laptop again…

Can Xanax wear out its feeling eventually?
I used to take xanax for my anxieties and it would give me a great sense of serenity and just overall clarity. After a couple months I tried it again and i can’t get that same feeling. If i take it now i feel just tired,grumpy,lazy, and empty. The next day is followed by a weird hangover. Has it damaged a part of my nervous system or has the effect simply wore off?

Does this paragraph scream vampire?
I’m writing a book and this chapter gives you a hit that Benjamin is something that isn’t human. He’s an angel, just in case you are wondering, but a different kind of angel and when he goes into the sunlight he turns invisible, because he is just mainly a soul that people can see.

Benjamin decided to skip the last period. Something in his stomach told him not to go near her again. His reason for being here on earth was to either kill her or bring her to Lucifer and he knew there was no way to get back onto his home after he was banned. He tried a few minutes ago to kill her, but she turned around getting from his grasp. Gripping the emerald that was around his neck, he ran. His heart pounded to the beat of his feet racing over the hard ground. Sweat beaded his forehead, causing his black hair to cling to it as his throat ached for air, more air. The delicious rush of wind pasting his face thrilled him. His muscles stretched, pushed harder. He did not know where he was going, but it had to be far away from here.

He ended up in the cemetery, surrounded by big, old, bare trees that look dead. The ground covered in leaves crunches with every foot step and seems to echo in the deserted quiet cemetery. Ice forming on the branches could snap them with a loud resounding crack at the perfect moment. All of these things combined would start to fray Benjamin’s nerves maybe making him rush and trip. The kind of thing that seems really creepy in the moment but when you look back on it you can’t find a particular reason why you were scared just an uncomfortable feeling and maybe the hair standing up on the back of your neck. But this wasn’t just an uncomfortable feeling, it was a warning. He could tell in the pit of his stomach that someone was following him. The crack of a stick verified that it was true.

I mean for some lowlives it’s beer pong, not getting enough sleep, getting drunk and smoking pot every night. Yet those same kids got really good grades to be in an ivy league school. My cousin goes to an ivy school and a lot of what she sees are just drunk crazy kids.

I’d agree that it would be a problem if they were on academic probation or something every semester, but as long as they’re achieving at or above the level of the average student, who cares if they party all night? Some of them didn’t – could be legacy kids.

But there’s also nothing wrong with having a good time – a lot of schools are work hard, play hard.

That said, a lot of these kids probably already have a silver spoon up their ass. A lot of Ivy students have a lot to fall back on already – some already have jobs lined up in Mommy or Daddy’s company (or their friends) and when you do, you know you don’t need to work too hard.

If there’s a silver lining, it’s that a lazy rich generation usually fails. The Hilton family built a dynasty. Paris is frittering it away. When her kids (God help us, she’ll probably have some) get to that point, they just might have to work – Granddaddy Hilton’s moved all the trust to charity for good reasons.
