 Angels in the Outfield (1994)
IMDB rating: 5.40
Plot: The California Angels are currently the worst team in their division. It seems that the players have a little trouble with their teamwork. Manager George Knox would like nothing better than to dump all of them, which the owner says is impossible. Roger is a boy whose mother died and is currently living in a foster home. His father feels that it would probably be in Roger’s best interest if he becomes a ward of the state. But Roger would rather that he and his father get back together, and when he asks his father if that is possible; his father’s reply is “when the Angels win the pennant”. Roger then prays and asks if they could help the team. When Roger goes to a game, he sees some Angels come down from the sky and they help the players make some astounding catches and hits. When Roger tells Mr. Knox about it, Mr. Knox decides to keep him at every game, and it seems that Mr. Knox’s faith is put to the test cause it seems that the angel are going to help if uses his worst players, but it seems to be working.

others that i cant think of right now
Matsui will probably go the Mariners. The Yankees don’t want him to keep clogging up the DH spot.
Jason Bay will probably stay on the Red Sox, but the Giants and Mets are also persuing him.
The Yankees don’t want to sign older people to a multi-year contract, so Holliday will likely stay on the Cardinals.
John Lackey will likely go the Yankees, simply because that’s where he’ll get paid the most.
Jermaine Dye might stay in Chicago, even though his option was declined. The Angels who are probably not going to resign Vladimir Guerrero could pick him up.
I think Jason Varitek might retire, since he had very sub-par stats this year. The Nationals might sign him, just to get attendence up.
Delgado also might retire, but if the Angels can’t find anyone else they’ll try to sign him.
Mark DeRosa will probably stay with the Cardinals, since he’s important offensively and defensively to the team.
Orlando Cabrera could really end up anywhere. He’s probably the best journeyman in the Major Leagues.
Chone Figgins is one of the most prized free agents. He might stay with Las Angeles, go to either Chicago team or the Phillies.
Johnny Damon will most likely resign with the Yankees as he’s already stated his desire to stay there. The Chicago White Sox, Giants and Mets could also be potentiol homes for the 36 year old center fielder.
Vladimir Guerrero’s career might be over, since the Angels have a lot of options for the DH spot for next season.
Jon Garland will probably be with the Dodgers next season, since they’re in need of starting pitchers.
Rumors of Pettite retiring swirl every year, so I think he’ll be with the Yankees still next year.
Mark Prior will probably try to make a comeback, but the question is if anyone will let him.
I think Roy Halladay will likely be traded. The leading candidate is probably the Las Angeles Dodgers.
The Phillies will probably attempt to trade Cole Hamels, but I doubt that any team would be willing to give up many good players for him.

The yanks pick up Marlon Byrd to play left instead of damon/matsui if the rangers don’t resign him. Yanks also sign harden, lackey, washburn, duchrescher, grabow, baek or lowry to fill their 3rd (or 2nd if its lackey) starter spot.
